The Hollow Hall Tavern is the inn in Gloamhearth at which the campaign opened. Sevryn, a silver dragonborn chronurgy wizard, gathered the original four players (Cholmondeley, Caelumn, Hugo, Vazquez) here one hour past sunset of session 1 to brief them on the failing of magic across Eldurae and to present The Egg. It was here the egg quest began.
Overview
The Hollow Hall Tavern is the meeting-place where the recorded campaign begins, in Gloamhearth. The original four-PC party gathered around an oak table on a rainy evening; Sevryn revealed himself, presented The Egg, and assigned the hunt for Death-at-Sunset’s hoard near Wyrmbough Grove.
Geography and appearance
The tavern is a standard road-inn of the older human style — timber and stone, wooden tables, lanterns over the bar. No interior detail beyond the meeting-table is preserved in the recaps because session 1 was unrecorded; Cholmondeley’s session-2 recap [1] is the only narrative trace.
History in the campaign
- Session 1 (unrecorded): Sevryn gathered Cholmondeley, Caelumn, Hugo, and Vazquez here, distributed the briefing on the egg, and pointed them at Wyrmbough Grove. The egg quest began at this table.
Status as of session 16
