She took Cholmondeley’s three light crossbows and three scimitars for a hand crossbow and bolts, threw in a healing potion, and sold Vasquez an alchemist’s fire for his scimitar and 15 gp [6]. When Cholmondeley asked whether she could use a young assistant, meaning his ward Nancy, she told him “You can’t sell a child.” [8].

Overview

Sunny is a halfling travelling merchant, the party’s one trading stop in session 2. Gwen Homora had mentioned her as easy to find [4], and the party traded her the weapons it had taken from the dead bandits’ sacks in the corrupted grove [5][6]. She is a fair trader who gives something back for a good deal, and she stopped Cholmondeley short when he tried to find his ward a place with her [7][8]. She has not appeared since.

Appearance and demeanour

A very golden-haired halfling with an infectious smile, two sturdy horses and a small stand holding just about every minor item [9]. The DM said her stock was any Player’s Handbook item under 100 gold pieces, four alchemist’s fires and a single antitoxin [10]. She greets customers with “Well, hello there. What will it be?” [11].

Cholmondeley swapped three light crossbows and three scimitars for a hand crossbow and bolts, and she threw in a healing potion free [19]. Vasquez offered his own scimitar against the 50 gp price of an alchemist’s fire; on a Persuasion of 17 she took the scimitar and 15 gp [20]. Cholmondeley then asked whether she needed a young assistant; she objected that “you can’t sell a child”, and said the road was no place for one [21].

As of session 23. Alive as far as the record shows. She has been off-screen since session 2, and nothing says where she travelled next.
