Sella Tallow is the current factor of House Tallow, the Velkris merchant house that dominates refined alchemy, and one of the five factors who sit on the Council of Factors in the Silent Hall. A yuan-ti woman, she is described in the world brief as having a physician’s calm and a poisoner’s patience. Her house’s saying is: “If Tallow made the cure, ask what else it treats.” She has not yet appeared in play.
Overview
Sella Tallow is the current factor of House Tallow, the Velkris merchant house whose business is what comes out of a still, a press, a retort or a sealed flask: medicine, perfume, contract wax, embalming oil, legal poisons, inks, antidotes, preservation fluids and reagents (world brief). As one of the five factors on the Council of Factors, she sits in the Silent Hall, where the Council decides the city’s taxes, trade rights and punishments behind closed marble doors.
The world brief describes her as a yuan-ti woman with a physician’s calm and a poisoner’s patience. She has not appeared in play, and no one has named her in dialogue. Everything on this page is world-brief canon.
Appearance and demeanour
A yuan-ti woman. Her public manner is the calm of a senior physician; her private reputation in the Silent Hall is the patience of a poisoner working a long contract, a factor who does not move quickly and “notes things” (world brief; see House Tallow). No picture or description from play exists.
