Nancy is the small girl Cholmondeley had taken under his protection in his backstory, having rescued her from execution by Aurelia (which is the reason he was on the run from them). She accompanied the party in the unrecorded session 1, was left with the cart in the rain all night during session 2’s grove expedition (which she did not appreciate), and stormed off telling Cholmondeley “fuck you, fuck your horses, fuck your face and your stupid ass moustache” [4]. She returned at Cholmondeley’s funeral in session 3, received his holy symbol, and asked to stay with the party (declined). She has not appeared since.
Overview
Nancy is the small girl Cholmondeley had taken under his protection — rescued in his backstory from execution at the hands of Aurelia, the reason he was on the run from them when the campaign began. Per the s2 recap of session 1, she travelled with him into Wyrmbough Grove.
She is the campaign’s first NPC to depart in anger. Cholmondeley left her with the cart in the rain all night during the s2 corrupted-grove expedition; in the morning she rejected his deception attempt, told him “fuck you, fuck your horses, fuck your face and your stupid ass moustache” [4], and walked off. She returned at his funeral, received his holy symbol, and asked to stay with the party. The party effectively declined (Caelumn voted no, others equivocal, and she was not present in the s4 departure).

Small. Direct. Unsentimental about being abandoned with livestock.

Travelled into Wyrmbough Grove with Cholmondeley.
Session 2 — abandonment
Cholmondeley persuaded her to mind the cart in the central square; the party then went into the grove, fought the dryad and assorted wildlife for the better part of a day, and returned to find she had been alone with the cart in the rain. Cholmondeley failed his Deception check; Caelumn cheerfully contradicted him; Nancy left.
Cholmondeley had earlier in s2 floated the idea of leaving her with Sunny the halfling merchant. Sunny declined: “You can’t sell a child.” [5].
Session 3 — funeral
Returned to Wyrmbough for Cholmondeley’s funeral. Received his holy symbol. Asked to stay with the party. Caelumn voted no; others equivocal. She was left at Wyrmbough Grove (per s4).
