Lessa Sunweave is the Artisan of Sentient Threads in Arcanthys, who in the DM’s world brief crafts garments infused with living intellect, one of them whispered to house her brother’s soul. She is one of three figures the brief names for the city, with Archmagister Vylarine Thael and High Seer Orlun Marr. She has not yet appeared in play, and the party has not visited Arcanthys.
Overview
Lessa Sunweave is the Artisan of Sentient Threads in Arcanthys, the floating magocracy, and one of three figures named in the DM’s world brief, with Archmagister Vylarine Thael, custodian of the Grand Conflux, and High Seer Orlun Marr, the blind prophet. The brief says that she crafts garments infused with living intellect, and that they are whispered to house her brother’s soul. She has not appeared in play.
Appearance and demeanour
The brief says nothing of her appearance or manner. Of the three Arcanthys figures she is the one described by what she makes rather than by an office.
Relationships
- Her brother: the brief gives him no name and no history. That one of her garments houses his soul is a whisper, a rumour and not a stated fact.
- Archmagister Vylarine Thael and High Seer Orlun Marr: the other two figures the brief names for Arcanthys. No relationship between the three is described.
- Arcanthys: her city, where silent arcane constructs tend the markets and lanterns glow with bottled starlight, in the brief’s picture of it.
Disposition towards the party
Unknown. The party has not met her, and has not visited Arcanthys. The soul-binding that has appeared in play is Caelumn’s Soulbinder’s Packed Ring, which the brief does not connect to her.
History in the campaign
Not yet seen in play.
Status
As of session 23. Presumed alive, in Arcanthys, and unseen: no session has mentioned her.
