Fergus is the butcher and innkeeper of Fergus’s Grill in Wyrmbough Grove — a combination grill, B&B, and small-cottages operation voiced as “a very camp Russell-Crowe-Greek-accent Zeus” who flirts heavily with everyone he meets (“baby”). He rents cottages at 5gp/night, butchered the small green wyrmling in session 3 and prepared eight portions of dragon meat for the road, fashioned Hugo a clean-toothed dragon-skull crown from the same kill, and set the s4-onward going rate for hospitality. The dragon meat granted 5 temporary HP per portion when consumed [3].
Overview
Fergus runs Fergus’s Grill in Wyrmbough Grove: butcher, innkeeper, and cottage-renter rolled into one. Voice is the campaign’s defining example of an enthusiastic NPC — described in the s2 recap as “a very camp Russell-Crowe-Greek-accent Zeus” — and flirts heavily with the party, calling them all “baby”. The party quickly identified him as the most reliable hospitality vendor in the region.
After Sunset is Nigh was killed in s3, Hugo asked Fergus to butcher the wyrmling for the village. Fergus fashioned the dragon’s skull into a clean-toothed crown for Hugo and prepared eight portions of dragon meat for the road. The dragon meat became one of the campaign’s most useful travel rations: 5 temporary HP per portion when consumed [3].

History / role in the campaign
Sessions 2-3 — base camp
Fergus’s Grill served as the party’s primary supper-and-sleep location during the s2-s3 Wyrmbough Grove arc. The s2 supper became the delivery point for Gwen Homora’s five poison-resistance potions [1]. Cottages 5gp/night.
Session 3 — dragon meat
After the party returned with Sunset is Nigh’s body, Hugo asked Fergus to cook the wyrmling — “I can cook up the dragon like nobody’s business” [5]. Fergus prepared eight portions for the road [6] and, when Hugo asked for “a victory skull kind of thing” [7], cleaned the skull of meat and presented it with Hugo’s serving — “he places a clean skull with intact teeth” [8]. The party feasted on dragon steak before the Owlin Earthwing arrived to introduce himself.
Session 4 — last appearance
The party departed Wyrmbough Grove via Fergus’s. Hugo went to the grill for a final breakfast and received the line “Well, here you go, savior of Wurmbau” [9]; 5 temporary HP per portion was ruled here [3], [10]. Fergus’s parting line: “I’ll miss you too. now, don’t go do anything I wouldn’t do. and definitely don’t do stuff I would do. there’s a small gray area in there.” [11]. Fergus has not appeared since.
