Inventory for Terry (Chris’s character from session 4 onwards), a tortle wizard, Bladesinger as of session 14, level 4 at end of session 16. This file lists his current loadout, magic items, key consumables, and ritual components.

Equipment (mundane)

  • Bagpipes — starting flavour instrument; used theatrically as the Find Familiar ritual focus (s8 “Macarena” cast).
  • Silvered Short Sword — looted from the Warrens storeroom (s6). Used vs the Black Vein Quarry ghosts s8 in combination with True Strike for radiant damage on hit.
  • Scimitar — Bladesinger melee. Used to behead an Aurelian recruit on a nat 20 in [1].
  • Hand crossbow + bolts — standard ranged weapon; used regularly with True Strike since s5.
  • Wizard’s spellbook — standard.
  • Component pouch / arcane focus — standard.
  • Tortle shell — RAW armour; per s11 the shell-stance grants AC 23 with attacks-against at disadvantage. Has been a frequent defensive option.

Magic items

  • Cloak of Protection (Sevryn’s gift, s11, attuned) — +1 to AC and saves.
  • Earthwing the owl — Find Familiar bond. First summoned [2] (“Macarena” ritual). Killed [3] in the Black Vein Quarry by an unseen sniper. Re-summoned offscreen since. Connection severed [4] in the Eldwythe sewers — something unseen on the ceiling attacked the owl mid-scout. Re-summonable with a fresh ritual cast.

Key consumables / components

  • 5 incense sets (Find Familiar components, 1gp each, s7 Whisper Coil purchase) — consumed each ritual. Stock unclear by s16; one or two assumed remaining.
  • Rations (5 purchased s11 at 5sp each).
  • Healing potions from the party pool as needed.

Permanent character notes

  • -1 Charisma permanently from s9 — failed Performance check on his people’s Rite of Returning at Harvo’s pyre [5]. Affects social rolls, Charisma saves, Performance.
  • Bladesinger subclass as of s14 level-up. Bladesong adds Int modifier to Concentration / Con saves and grants flat AC bonus. First debut [6].
  • Has cast Shadow Blade for the first time [7] (instant-killed a Kuatoa via “soul cut” DM ruling); used it again s16 thrown via the Throne property.
