Party Roster

Start-class article

The Party Roster lists every player character in the recorded campaign as active, departed offscreen or deceased, with player, race and class, sessions in play and status; each note links to the character’s page, which has one short entry for every session played. As of session 24 the active party is Terry (Chris), Hugo (Dylan), Caelumn (Toby), Father Thomas (Brian) and Kole (Jon); all five played session 24, and nobody joined, left or died in it. Kole took the fifth seat in session 23 after Trey left the campaign (Chris, 2026-10-10). Trey’s Barney Amoran, written in by a dual-memory retcon that replaced Steven (Ash) in session 20, has not been seen since, and no exit has been shown for him. Vasquez (Polar) and Althea (Maliwana) are departed offscreen: the session 17 retcon had the Aurelians capture them, and the DM has ruled that this is not a rescue arc. Four PCs have died on-screen: Cholmondeley (s3), Harvo (s9), Ruin (s15) and Mike (s18). Earthwing the Owlin was a one-scene cameo and never played.

Active party (as of session 24)

All five ended session 24 alive and in the middle of a fight with the knight of smoke in the ridge temple; the DM stopped the session there, in initiative, and asked everyone to have a backup character ready [1]. The knight dropped Terry and Father Thomas, and a Potion of Healing raised each [2][3][4][5]. The level-up the DM promised for clearing the temple is still pending [6][7][8].

The s17 retcon is in-fiction; the real-world meta (the Polar and Maliwana departures between sessions 16 and 17) is documented on their player pages. The rescue is not a campaign arc (ruling 25): the characters are departed in the same category as the deceased PCs below, not pending recovery. Replacement-PC pattern

Sevryn has filled several PC vacancies the same way: a stranger arrives at the right moment with a sealed letter or a Sevryn reference. In date order:

  1. Earthwing the Owlin: appeared at the feast after Cholmondeley’s funeral [42] and was replaced within a session by Terry.
  2. Terry: sat down in the Owlin’s seat at the start of session 4, while the party was still at Fergus’s Grill [9][10][77]; later, at The Still Current Inn in Mirestrand, he remarked that Sevryn “seems to be pulling people from all around the world” [78].
  3. Ruin: announced by a sealed letter from Sevryn found at Harvo’s pyre [60], then walked into the party’s next camp asking for food [79][80].
  4. Althea Stormsoro: the one PC who joined without Sevryn; she fled into the party’s clearing in session 15, pursued by an Aurelian patrol [39][40].
  5. Mike and Steven: found clinging to the wreckage of an Aurelian-sunk ship in the Sapphire Sea and pulled aboard the party’s skiff [43]. Whether Sevryn arranged it, as Hugo guessed in character, is unconfirmed [81]. Mike died in session 18.
  6. Father Thomas: a serving Aurelian Pure Light priest from the patrol that executed Mike, who caught up with the party’s camp on the road to atone, on leave from his order [26][27].
  7. Barney Amoran: not recruited in the story at all, but written into the party’s history by a dual-memory retcon in Steven’s place [44][82]; in the doubled memory the party “rescued him from the wreckage” [83]. His tenure closed without a scene: his player left the campaign before session 23, and no exit has been shown.
  8. Kole: by his player’s account “sent on the path by a very powerful individual”, then pointed at the party by Sevryn, about three days before [32][84][85]. He did not walk into camp; the party found him in the ridge temple as a cultist’s manacled prisoner and had to fight to free him [86][30][33].
