Magic Items Index
The Magic Items Index tracks every magical item identified in the campaign through end of session 16, with current holder, attunement status, source session, known and suspected properties, and lifecycle status. It is the sister document to Party Inventory and the per-character item lists. Properties are recorded as the party knows them; suspected or unknown effects are flagged.
About this index
One row per magic or magic-tagged item identified through end of session 16. Where a property is suspected but unconfirmed it is marked “(?)”. Where the party has not formally identified an item, the row notes “unidentified” in the properties column. Holder is the PC who currently carries the item; an item may be in a party-pool or on an off-screen NPC.
Status legend: carried (in the active party’s hands), lost (out of the party’s possession), consumed (one-shot used), destroyed, stored (held but not currently used by anyone).

List access spans wizard / sorcerer / warlock / bard with paladin / ranger exclusions [36], L1350). Notes
- Conflict flag — Bloodwell Vial location. The s11 acquisition list and s12 inventory references treat the vial as carried by Caelumn. The s16 callback list (L1751) lumps “Caelumn’s lost backpack from s15” without explicitly naming the vial. The campaign bible (party-at-end-of-s16) lists Bloodwell Vial as still on Caelumn. Recommend Chris confirm whether the vial was on Caelumn’s belt (kept) or in his backpack (lost). Per the DM (post-s16 correction), the candied dentures had been returned to Uncle Nibblecheek before the s15 backpack snare and were NOT in the pack at the time of the theft — earlier readings of this list have been corrected accordingly.
- Greataxe of Frost attunement. Hugo explicitly did NOT attune the Greataxe of Frost in s7 (“I am keeping it as a generous gift, but I am not attuning to it” — [20]. No subsequent transcript line confirms attunement; mechanical bonuses and the frost rider have been used freely. Chris may want to confirm whether the table treats it as attuned.
- Web scroll consumption. Caelumn cast Web at the Warrens entrance s6, but the recap notes Web came from a 2nd-level slot rather than from the s3 scroll. Whether the s3 scroll was consumed in s6 or remains in inventory is ambiguous.
- Sword of the dragon hoard. The Dragonslayer Longsword’s specific damage rider (e.g. 2d6 vs dragons, advantage vs dragons, etc.) was not enumerated in the s3 transcript — only that it is rare and enchantment-school. Chris may have the actual stat block.
