Inventory for Althea Stormsoro (Maliwana’s character in sessions 15 and 16), a 3-foot white-scaled kobold cleric/paladin of the All Hammer, level 4 at end of session 16. Her signature item is the silver-and-golden gorget with a burning gem that the Aurelian patrol wanted to inspect [1][2]. Her spells take shape from pieces of raw iron she carries [3][11], and in session 16 she ritually identified the Hat of Disguise and received Vasquez’s gunblade schematics [4][5]. She left play in the retcon at the start of session 17, captured with Vasquez by the Aurelians [6]; her gear went with her. She is a departed PC, not an active rescue thread (ruling 25).

Equipment (mundane)

  • Clothes and hat: “A simple full-on dress and a jacket”, and “a large, possibly oversized pointy hat with a skull emblem at the top” [1], which she tips over her eyes to pray [7]. Fate: went with her [6].
  • Shield: her “regular shield” [3], held up through the sewer fight [8]. Fate: went with her.
  • Pieces of raw iron, carried in her jacket, from which her spells take shape: one smashed into her shield to cast Shield [3], one melted into four shards for Bless [9][10], and a bar crushed into a cowbell for Toll the Dead [11]. In s15 she finished a kuo-toa by throwing a bell [12]. Used up as she casts.
  • Ritual kit: miniature candles planted in a circle for her short-rest incantation [13], and ores and hard stones, granite, basalt, slate and limestone, laid out to cast Identify [14]. Fate: went with her.
  • Vasquez’s gunblade schematics: he passed them to her “as a good gesture of faith” [5]; in return she pressed a glowing gem into his hands, with “a surge of holy power” that mended his armour [15]. Fate: went with her.

Magic items

  • Althea’s Gorget: starting equipment, “a silver and golden gorget with a bright burning gem that sits in the middle just above her upper chest” [1]. It is why the Aurelian patrol pursued her: “They wanted to take a look at my gorgets and I denied them that chance.” [2]. She holds it when she prays [7]. Whether it is magical, what it does and where it came from are not revealed. Fate: went with her when she was captured [6].
  • No other magic item is recorded. She identified the Hat of Disguise for Vasquez and did not keep it [4].

Consumables and components

  • No potion or scroll of her own is recorded. In s16 a flameskull’s Magic Missile dropped her, and Vasquez revived her with his greater healing potion for 17 [16][17][18][19].

Permanent notes

  • A failed runesmith. She “originally i wanted to be a runesmith but It didn’t work out.” [20], which fits her ores and iron.
  • Draconic Cry, her bonus-action war cry, as she shouted it in the first sewer fight: “Fuck you, kill those guys.” [21][22].
  • Departure (s17 retcon). Session 17 opens with her and Vasquez split from the party and “captured by the Aurelians” [23][6]; everything above went with her. She is a departed PC, not an active rescue thread (ruling 25).
