Althea Stormsoro — Inventory

Start-class article · First seen: s15 · Last seen: s16

Inventory for Althea Stormsoro (Maliwana / Mally’s character from session 15 onwards), a 3-foot white-scaled kobold cleric/paladin of the All Hammer, level 4 at end of session 16. The silver-and-golden gorget with a burning gem is her signature item — the reason the Aurelian patrol pursued her in s15.

Equipment

  • Silver-and-golden gorget with burning gem — starting equipment. Burning gem “smashed in like a runic symbol” per s15 introduction. The reason the Aurelian patrol pursued her in s15 — they wanted to inspect it, she refused. Mechanical effect and origin unrevealed in transcript.
  • Oversized pointed hat with skull emblem — flavour, religious/clergy of the All Hammer.
  • Simple full-on dress and jacket — flavour.
  • Holy symbol of the All Hammer — implicit.
  • Standard cleric/paladin kit — specific weapon and armour not enumerated in transcript at character introduction; functionally light-armour caster with melee fallback.

Spells / class features in active rotation

  • Bless (cast at 2nd level on Terry, Vasquez, Hugo, Caelumn [1]
  • Draconic Cry (bonus action; “Fuck you, kill those guys” [2]
  • Sacred Flame (cantrip)
  • Toll the Dead (cantrip)
  • Cure Wounds (used s15, s16)
  • Channel Divinity (Turn Undead) — used s15 (failed once, succeeded later); used s16 (succeeded at 17, scaring the second flame-skull off-field with delayed effect)
  • Identify (ritual; used s16 to identify the Hat of Disguise for Vasquez)

Magic items

  • None confirmed beyond the gorget. Althea identified the Hat of Disguise for Vasquez but did not retain it.

Backstory hooks (per s15 introduction)

  • Has a runesmith past — apprentice but did not finish; former friends parted ways.
  • The gorget’s burning gem is a recurring visual.

Tracked across sessions

  • s15: introduced — flees into the party’s clearing pursued by Aurelians who want to inspect her gorget.
  • s15: 2nd-level Bless on the party; combat debut.
  • s15: present for needle-blight + flame-skull combat; finishes the last creature with a thrown cowbell.
  • s16: ritual-identifies the Hat of Disguise; Channel Divinity Turn Undead succeeds in the sarcophagus chamber; downed once by flame-skulls (revived by Vasquez’s greater healing potion for 17).
