House Tallow

House Tallow is the Velkris merchant house that dominates refined alchemy: medicine, perfume, contract wax, embalming oil, legal poisons, expensive inks, antidotes, preservation fluids and reagents. Its public clinics save lives, and its private laboratories ask what a life is worth. It is one of the five houses of the Council of Factors, led by the yuan-ti physician Sella Tallow, and its saying is “If Tallow made the cure, ask what else it treats.” It is world-brief canon only; the party has not visited Velkris and has not met Tallow product or staff on screen.
