Nickipedia
Sevryn is a silver dragonborn chronurgy wizard, telepath, and the architect of the egg quest that has shaped the campaign from session 1 onward. He gathered the original five strangers at the Hollow Hall Tavern in Gloamhearth, delivered the draconic-hoard-absorbing Egg into their hands, and has periodically redirected the party by telepathic message and sealed letter ever since. He is the campaign’s prime mover, a foresight-haunted figure who has admitted in writing to dispatching at least one party member to a foreseen death “because the path you’re on only stays open if the wrong thing happens at the right time” (s10 L82). - In session 20 a new companion, Barney Amoran, a High Elf artificer, was written into the party by a memory-rewriting retcon that erased Steven; the party promptly made him their decision-maker.
- The Aurelian occupation of Eldwythe has lifted; the party crossed the border checkpoint out of Aurelia as hired guards to the merchant Laura Bennett, bound for Umbrafall.
- A new omen: the world’s ley lines are failing, a brownout of arcane power that ties to the dying world-dragon behind the Egg quest, first showing in Arcanthys.
- On the road to Umbrafall the party fought off a night ambush of ghouls and ogre zombies raised by a lone necromancer who fled unidentified; no one died.
- As of session 19 the party abandoned the Egg raid on Aurelia for now and turned back toward Vel’Kris to redeem a forged Duskwatch ledger with Silent Intake."
